Rob white ,John Hayes and I sailed up the Clarence River on Monday and Tuesday 05-06 of November.
We camped at the Ski Lodge up river from Grafton.John H negotiated a good deal for us.
Monday morning we motor sailed to Grafton for lunch on the southern bank pontoon.
Just in case others were to join us. Nope just the three of us. Sailed back to the ski lodge in a brisk north easter.we were ready for a shower and a feed.Bed by eight.
Up at six, on the water at around nine and motoring up river. First stop was at Rogan Bridge to lower our masts and have a snack.Then another hour before we fond a sandy bank for lunch.
On we motored up river to the Orara River junction,we poked up the river a bit  but time was and fuel was running out so we headed for home pushing wind and tide.John H did a shear pin after hitting a log and I had a plug lead fall off,they were the only problems on the trip.
1830  we were on land at the ski lodge looking for food.Bed at nine that night and slept till six,breakfast and packing up and on the road around nine.
Great time was had and a lot learnt about dinghy cruising.
